Course Description
Design of Experiments is introduced in this course using a simplified and hands-on approach. Participants design, conduct, analyze, and interpret several experiments. Full factorial, fractional factorial, and other designs will be conducted by hand at first then supplemented with the addition of Excel, Minitab or JMP. Participants learn methods to determine design power, sequence experiments, conduct “good” research, and communicate easy-to-understand findings. The course uses experiential labs, practical statistics, 1:1 attention, decision trees, and job aides to develop skills and reinforce understanding.
At the conclusion of this course, participants will have gained hands-on experience analyzing real-life data. The best part: we encourage participants to bring in their own data and use it for each topic and exercise. Participants who cannot or choose not to bring in their own data will be provided data to work with.
Topics covered in class are relevant to all levels of experience. Our instructors simplify complex topics and present them clearly and concisely. Case studies and in-class exercises allow the participant to combine and utilize concepts learned during the course.
